At the APS Great American Stamp Show (GASS) meeting each year the Writers Unit announces new inductees to the Philatelic Writers Hall of Fame. A plaque on public display at the American Philatelic Research Library displays (who has seen this plaque?) the names of the honorees in permanency and prominence.
